Bluebonnet Program 2015-2016

3rd, 4th,and 5th graders can participate in the Bluebonnet program by reading books from our Texas Bluebonnet list.  This list includes 20 books in a variety of genres and reading levels; students are encouraged to choose 5 books that appeal to them.  After reading each book, students will schedule a short appointment with Mrs Jensen, where we will talk about our favorite parts of the book.  Read 5 and Decide in January!  Students all across Texas vote on their favorite book; the book with the most votes receives the award.  For students who read 5 books and complete the 5 appointments, we will have a celebration for the winning book.  Learn more about each Bluebonnet books by clicking below.
