Google Hang Out and The Hair of Zoe Fleefenbacher

We had a great time in the library today.  We “hung out” with Smith Elementary students today via Google Hangout.  Mrs. Pelias, Smith Elementary librarian, and I took turns reading The Hair of Zoe Fleenfenbacher; it was so much fun to share a story with another school!  After we read the story, students got to design their own crazy hair bookmarks.  Check out our cool artwork!

International Dot Day

We celebrated International Dot Day with some great books and awesome experiences.  We connected with other campuses through Skype on Tuesday, and celebrated in other classes throughout the week with the app Quiver and by creating collaborative Dots.  It’s been a great week so far, and we look forward to making our marks this year in the library.
